Beautiful Spots for Fishing and Rest with Family

Bootle Bay has a long history. What was once the personal home of a famous fishing guide has now become an enjoyable place to relax and take in the beauty of the Bahamas. The main building was once the home of Baby Doc Grant, the holder of the record for the largest tuna ever caught in these waters. Baby Doc Grant was the great uncle to Vida Blue Hepburn, the owner and general manager of Bootle Bay Fishing Lodge. Doc Grant taught Vida everything he knows about fishing the waters near the lodge.

The Bonefish Flats north of the lodge have been fished over the years by many well known celebrities and a long list of U.S. Presidents.

Renovations

The lodge has now been recently renovated with a reconfigured dock to accommodate seven boats, new A/C units and upgrades to the kitchen and property. A lighted and covered fish cleaning station was completed April 2016. Bootle Bay Fishing Lodge has come a long way from its humble beginnings and guests who have stayed here have had some of the best times of their lives.
